Vision
Our shared future will be unlike our shared past. We must prepare wisely for that future. While there are many uncertainties and unknowns, there are opportunities as well. We must create the foundation that will enable us to function successfully in whatever this new and different world might be.
There are opportunities for us to create a self-sufficient, self-sustaining city where most of our needs and activities can be met in or near Longmont. This vision will take careful thought and courage. It will take a commitment to measure and balance our needs and wants. It’s a tall challenge, but we can do this. We have the heart. We have the soul. We have the talent and we have the intelligence to move Longmont into a more viable, more sustainable 21st century community.
Below are some of the goals and directions that will inspire my work should you hire me to represent you and our city. Please share yours with me also. I’m here to listen.
